L’11 luglio del 2005 I worked at the Fiat Safety Centre, the laboratory responsible for carrying out crash tests of our cars, and I was the head of Quality.
That morning I was summoned by my boss Enrico Becchio in his office: a crew of Discovery Channel wants to take pictures during a tour in Europe focused on work a bit 'unusual as well as on a special on the world of cars.
The weather was hot, the air is that the working one, I had many things to do, but I had to accompany these three people: Barbara Ustina (Barb for friends), a Canadian producer and voice of what the documentary will be accompanied by a Canadian cameraman too (can not remember the nickname), and a Italian sound engineer, a freelancer who prefers to work with strangers ("I'm more serious," he says).
start the tour, I accompany them to the offices and laboratories, and at some point decide to microphones. So it turns out my resume and put the video together with my explanations, all in English. At the end
transmit the program in North America in January 2007, and will ultimately be a documentary ... on me!

All you see is pure improvisation, nothing was prepared or studied, it also shows my very casual attire: the logical thread is the product of the final assembly. Five minutes of footage for an entire day of shooting.
They were very pleased with my enthusiasm, and I do not even have doubled!

We started the tour, I took them through offices and laboratories explaining the way we work, and at a certain point they decided to ‘microphone’ me. So it came out that they would have filmed me and put it all together with my explanations, all strictly in English.
The program was broadcasted in North America in January 2007, and in the end it was a documentary…about me!
